Ancient historical Palace situated in Lucca center, a few steps away from the “Fillungo”, a nice central road with beautiful shops and bars. This building has been recently restored and offers 3 elegant and welcoming units equipped with all modern comforts. The ancient city walls running along the center (for 4,2 km) are only a short distance away and allow nice walks and bike rides (bikes for rent in the surroundings). The Versilia coastline area with beautiful beaches and renowned restaurants and bars is in a 30-minute drive.
Distances: the center of Lucca is only a few meters away, Pisa (airport) 20 km away, Montecatini (with a spa center and a 18-hole golf course) approx. 30 km, Viareggio (with nice beaches) 25 km away, Forte dei Marmi (with large beaches and a 18-hole golf course) approx. 30 km, Florence (airport) 70 km away. The “Cinque Terre” region is approx. 90 km away.

The Palazzo Rugiada was wonderful. Centered in the heart of Lucca. It was spacious and warm. It had all the updated accomodations with with a little medieval historu mixed in. We hope to come again.

This is a delightful, large, well equipped apartment in a newly renovated building with a wonderfully helpful owner who greeted us warmly and kicked our stay in Lucca off to a great start. The pictures available on line depict the apartment accurately. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Conveniently located in walking distance to everything. Highly recommended

Palazzo Rugiada (Rugiada 1) was the perfect place to stay on our visit to Lucca. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and located close to the market, restaurants, sites and parking garage. Rita and Rugiada were so warm and welcoming. They could not do enough for us. I would hope that when people visit the USA we treat them as warmly and wonderfully as we were received in Lucca!
